I created 4 Weeks of Self-Knowledge because I’ve been where you are. I’ve struggled to maintain a daily journaling practice while holding down three jobs and studying for a degree. I’ve started psychology books and taken so long to finish them that I can’t even remember what the first half was about by the time I do. I’ve gone through periods when I’ve been late for therapy sessions every week (the ones I haven’t cancelled because I don’t have time to attend them). I’ve arrived home at the end of a long day, too exhausted to even contemplate sitting down to read, study, journal, or think about the tough stuff. I’ve wished and hoped that maybe one day I’ll have the time to deepen my relationship with myself, to learn more about how my past experiences have affected my present life and to uncover more of the real me, the full person buried beneath the busy.
